What we collect
We collect two kinds of information.
Information you give us. When you submit one of the three forms on this site, we receive the fields you complete.
The beta application asks for your first name, last name, work email, company name, your role, Salesforce user license band, Salesforce edition, an approximate count of Connected Apps and Auth Providers, an approximate count of scheduled jobs, and which certificate and integration problems you have hit in the last twelve months. Industry, how you heard about us, and a free text box for anything else are optional.
The launch notification form asks for your work email. First name, last name, and company name are optional.
The contact form asks for your first name, last name, work email, company name, and your message. A subject line is optional.
Information collected automatically. This site is hosted by Hostinger. As with any web host, its servers receive and log the requests they serve, which for a typical host includes your IP address, your browser's user agent, the page requested, and the time of the request. We do not use those logs for analytics or marketing, and how long Hostinger keeps them is set by its own policy rather than ours.
We do not ask for and do not want payment card numbers, government identifiers, or Salesforce credentials. Please do not send them through these forms.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your inquiry.
- To evaluate beta applications and contact applicants about the beta program.
- To send you the product updates you asked for, such as notification when OrgGuard is available.
- To keep the site running and to investigate abuse or errors.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Lawful basis
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests for responding to inquiries and evaluating beta applications, because you contacted us about a business product and a reply is what you asked for.
- Consent for optional product update emails. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
How long we keep it
- Contact form submissions: deleted 24 months after our last contact with you.
- Beta applications, accepted: kept for as long as you are a participant or a customer, and deleted when that relationship ends and you ask us to.
- Beta applications, declined: deleted 12 months after we tell you the outcome.
- Launch notification signups: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Server logs: governed by Hostinger's retention policy, which we do not control.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See Your rights.
Who else processes it
We use a small number of third parties to run this site and handle form submissions.
- Google LLC. Form submissions are posted to a Google Apps Script web app, which appends them to a Google Sheet and sends an email notification to our support address. Google therefore stores every submission.
- Hostinger. Serves the website and records standard request logs.
We do not use advertising networks, data brokers, or third party marketing platforms on this site.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Ask us to stop sending you email.
- Object to our processing, or ask us to restrict it.
To exercise any of these, email support@orgguard.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else.
If you are in the UK or EU and you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
If you live in California
The CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to have it deleted, to have it corrected, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Email support@orgguard.com to exercise any of them. We will not treat you differently for asking.
We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined in the CCPA, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. There is nothing here for you to opt out of.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find useful. On your first visit we ask whether you want it on, and the answer is genuinely yours to make: nothing is stored and no analytics cookie is set unless you choose Accept. Decline, and this site sets no cookies at all.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to recognize a returning browser and group page views into a visit. If you decline, or if you have not answered yet, it runs in a cookieless mode that records a page view without identifying you or your browser.
Your answer is remembered in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, so declining really does mean no cookies. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
You can change your mind at any time. Review your cookie choice, and the banner will reappear. Clearing your browser storage for this site has the same effect.
We never enable advertising storage. There are no advertising or remarketing tags on this site, we do not track you across other websites, and the Accept button does not turn any of that on, because there is none of it to turn on.
docs.orgguard.com runs a separate Google Analytics property and asks separately. Browsers keep storage per site, so a choice made here does not carry over to it, and the reverse.
