Who these terms are with
This website and the OrgGuard beta program are operated by Aetrum LLC, a Virginia limited liability company. For questions about these terms, contact support@orgguard.com.
What these terms cover
They cover your use of this website and your participation in the private beta program. They do not cover the OrgGuard managed package itself, which is governed by the agreement presented at installation, nor your use of Salesforce, which is governed by your agreement with Salesforce.
Using this website
You may read this site and submit the forms on it. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, access it by automated means at a rate that degrades it for others, or submit content you have no right to share.
Information you submit through the beta application, contact, and launch notification forms is handled as described on our Privacy page. Please do not send Salesforce credentials, payment card numbers, or government identifiers through them.
Beta program participation
The private beta is an eight-week program. The first cohort is limited to five participating teams. Participation is free: the full Pro feature set is provided at no cost for the duration, with no credit card required.
The program runs in phases, driven by how the package is built:
- Weeks 1 to 4, sandbox only. The package is installed in a sandbox. Updates during this phase require uninstalling and reinstalling, which erases any data held in OrgGuard's custom objects. For that reason you should not load production data during this phase.
- Week 5 onward, production. The package supports in place upgrades from this point, so data is retained across updates.
- After the beta. OrgGuard moves to an AppExchange listing once Security Review clears.
Your commitments
Participation requires installing the package in a designated sandbox, attending biweekly check-in calls, and sharing candid feedback on functionality and usability. There is no minimum usage threshold beyond installation.
Ending participation
Either party may end participation at any time with written notice to the other party's email on file. On withdrawal, you should uninstall the managed package. Any data stored in OrgGuard custom objects will remain in your org until you delete it or uninstall the package.
Confidentiality
The OrgGuard package, its features, and any documentation shared during the beta are confidential until publicly released. You agree not to share screenshots, feature details, or internal documentation outside your organization without written permission. This obligation survives for 12 months after the beta ends.
Feedback and ideas
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you share during the beta may be used by Aetrum LLC to improve OrgGuard without restriction or obligation to you. You retain no intellectual property rights in feedback submitted.
Pricing commitments
The standard Pro rate is $499 per month, or $5,090 per year, per production Salesforce org.
The first five beta participants who convert to a paid plan lock a founding rate below the standard Pro rate, with no step-ups, no renegotiation, and no increases during the term. You can cancel at any time.
The founding rate is a binding contractual commitment. It applies for 24 months from the date you convert to a paid plan. At the end of the 24-month term, your rate will move to the then-current standard published rate, with 60 days advance written notice before the change takes effect.
If you cancel during the founding term, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. No partial-period refunds are issued. If you return after cancelling, the founding rate is not reinstated; you will be offered the then-current published rate.
Availability and changes to the service
During the beta, the service may be interrupted, changed, or discontinued without notice. After the beta, we target reasonable commercial availability but do not guarantee specific uptime percentages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes to functionality. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
Intellectual property
OrgGuard, the OrgGuard name, and the content of this site are owned by Aetrum LLC. Your Salesforce data and configuration remain yours; the package reads your org's metadata and does not modify it.
During the beta, Aetrum LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the OrgGuard managed package in your designated Salesforce org. This license terminates when the beta ends, at which point you may convert to a paid plan or uninstall the package.
Warranties and liability
OrgGuard is provided "as is" during the beta period and "as is" under paid plans, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. OrgGuard monitors metadata such as certificate expiration dates and integration credentials, but does not guarantee detection of every risk. You remain responsible for your organization's operational decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aetrum LLC's total liability for any claim arising from your use of OrgGuard will not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Aetrum LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the website or service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
